Congestion: Congestion can cause temporary hearing loss. You may not need antibiotics if you are getting over your cold by yourself. You could try sinus irrigation and gargling. Perhaps an antihistamine could help, or even a dose/spray of afrin (oxymetazoline)? Pregnancy related water retention can also increase swelling everywhere. You may want to cut back on salt and drink hot water with lemon juice.

ETD: Your eustachian tubes may be blocked due to the sinus congestion. Saline nose spray, warm compresses to your face and ear. Since you are pregnant try to avoid oral medications. It will resolve.
