Citalopram : Yes. Citalopram comes in an immediate release form in 10, 20 and 40 mg tablets. Since there is no extended release technology in the tablet, cutting the tablet in half would not cause any change in the delivery method.

Celexa (citalopram) break 1/2: The 20 and 40 mg pills have a line down the middle to make it possible to break them in 1/2. The question I have is why would you pose that question here and not to your prescribing professional. So my 2 cents is yes it can be done but talk to your prescriber first please.
