Is it bad too have too many x rays taken? i've had some major injuries in the past year and i've had over 20 sets of x rays, and a couple ct scans

It's best to...: Avoid unnecessarry radiation if at all possible. Having said that, your doctors must have been concerned enough about injuries to get the exams so the benefits likely outweigh the risks. Plain xrays (radiographs) give very little radiation dose. Ct scan dose is relatively much more but still a typical ct of the abdomen and pelvis may be equivalent to about 1-2 years of background radiation.
