Either side okay: When you lay on your back during the second half of pregnancy, the uterus itself will impede blood flow back to your heart causing a drop in your blood pressure. You might notice that in this position you will feel dizzy and light-headed. A tilt to the right or the left is adequate to avoid this effect.
