May be dehydration: Even though you did not sweat much, the humidity in kansas today is only about 20%, so you may have been sweating with quick evaporation, leading to fluid loss. Dehydration can lead to this feeling of cold skin as your body shunts blood toward muscles and internally toward organs. Try hydrating well and see if your skin temp returns.
