A member asked:

Is it normal to feel a little numb around the scar area after 6 weeks after c section?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: During the process of surgery, nerves can be cut. Nervous tissue is some of the slowest healing in the body. Cutting skin nerves can result in numbness around the incision. This area should be relatively small and close to the wound. It is common for this to remain numb.
