RA, Osteoarthritis: When you have symptoms on both sides, it can open up the possibility of ra. Joints in RA or any other inflammatory arthritis, usually present with swelling , pain and stiffness. Osteoarthritis is a result of wear on the cartilage in joints. The only way to find out what type is through blood tests and screening techniques to test for rheumatoid factor.
