That depends on the: Underlying reason for the anger. If someone is just angry - an ssri is not indicated. However if someone is angry as a symptom of an anxiety or mood disorder- it may be quite appropriate.

Yes.: Sometimes depression can be manifested as anger , irritability and short frustration tolerance. Depression had been called "frozen anger".
