Doubtful: Muscle twitching is not among the listed/known side effects of ranitadine. However, for any individual patient, a side effect could occur. At 8 months if baby on this for reflux, would consider if it's time to try to wean him off the medication as he is more upright and eating solid foods, which will help his reflux. If does need med and worried about what he's on, consider switch to prevacid (lansoprazole).
