Normal: When muscle / tendons are relatively 'tight' eccentric contractions( stretching )of the particular muscle/ tendon unit can be uncomfortable. This is normal and 'stretching' tight muscle/ tendons on a consistent basis can help in preventing muscle/ tendon injury( ' shin splints', achilles tendinitis , 'golfers' elbow', etc.)...Best of luck.
