Rare to perforate: It is extremely rare for a gallbladder to perforate but once there are symptomatic gallstones elective removal minimal invasivelly with laparoscopy is recommended because almost assuredly if not done an emergency with the possibility gangrene can occur and the opportunity to have it done electively as an outpatient may be lost.

See surgeon: If you have gallstones and you have symptoms caused by the gallstones- you should go to see a surgeon for evaluation of surgery to remove the gallbladder. Don't wait until you have more significant problems. You are relatively young to have gallstones- certain condition including blood disorder should be considered.
