Blood in mouth: At ge 58 have your doctor carefully examine your noe, teeth and oral cavity. If he finds nothing and you are not on excessive aspirin, blood thinners or similar drugs then he should do more sophisticated studies of the chest hypopharynx and sinuses.

Bleeding: You may be bleeding. Could be infected gums, infected tooth, or one of many lesions. Please have your dentist check you to locate the source of the bleeding.
