A member asked:

Wbc 10.2; anc 8.4; rbc 3.78; gran% 82; lymph% 13.5 these are the lab results showing what is either low or high.....what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

RBC low gran high: Decreased red cells tend to correlate with anemia which generally correlate with low hemoglobin or hematocrit. An absolute neutrophil count of greater than 7000 ( in your case 8000) indicates an elevation in neutrophils or neutrophilia. You should correlate the rbc value with the hemoglobin and hematocrit to see if you are anemic.
