Is there a difference between inflamed lymph nodes & general glands? i have puffy glands in my upper thighs, armpit, behind knees but no sign of nodes

Go get a medical exa: Without a medical exam, we can not tell you what you are feeling. So go have a doctor check your glands(lymph nodes). You would not be able to feel any other glands like you have said " general glands".

Lymphadenopathy: Your question is difficult to interpret. Don't know what you are distinguishing between "glands" and "nodes". These need to be seen and examined by a doctor in order to be correctly diagnosed. Good luck.
