Gastroenterologist: 3 weeks of chills and sweats are a concern. Apparently your heart and lungs have checked out ok. Perhaps a gastroenterologist should evaluate your esophagus. I assume you also had a complete physical exam and extensive blood and urine testing through your physician. Has a treadmill stress test been done as well to evaluate your chest discomfort or does he/she feel the chest pains are not cardiac?
