Red Spot on palate: I would have it checked today and i would let them biopsy it today if it looks suspicious! don't delay!

Soft Palate lesion: First, stop smoking immediately. This is a know carcinogen and can cause oral cancer as well as other cancers and health risks. Second, you need to see an oral surgeon for a one on one clinical diagnosis and perhaps a biopsy. Seeking an internet diagnosis is silly, futile and without any merit.
