Maybe: Depends on the composition of the flu shot, whether or not it contains an active preservative that might be metallic, like mercury. Less so if there is no preservative. Ask the doctor or health personnel who gave you the shot.

Possibly: Depends on the composition of the vaccine and it's carrier. If this is a 1 time only event, ignore it. If you have repetitive episodes of "strange taste" you need to be evaluated by both your Dentist/Periodontist/Oral Surgeon and your Physician/Ent/Gastroenterologist.
