Fine: Assuming you saw an eye dr. Who evaluated your visual acuity and the glasses have prescription lenses in them, specifically to improve your vision, you should be fine, and hopefully they will open up a whole new world to you of more clear vision. Best wishes to you.

No need to be scared: At the time you pick up your glasses there is a recheck of the prescription written to the actual prescription ground into the lenses. This reassures that the glasses were made correctly. Next the optician fits the glasses to your face and makes the necessary adjustments. Finally you get to trial them to make sure everything is acceptable. A few days of wear is usually all that is necessary to adj.
