Strep throat: If you were tested for strep and prescribed azithromycin, i must assume the strep test was positive. Are you allergic to penicillin? Just curious as pen vk is the recommended treatment if not penicillin allergic. However, in my experience shaking ; body aches are not typical for strep pharyngitis. Could you have a second, intercurrent viral infection? Speak to your doctor to discuss.
