Osteitis Pubis: Osteitis pubis is an inflammatory problem that can be related to overuse (kicking sports, figure skating) or can occur in people w/inflammatory arthritis or pregnancy. If u r not pregnant, consider ur activities. Muscles attach to the pubic symphysis (abdominals/leg adductors) but do not cross over or cover it. Start w/ice, activity modification and a compression garment. No kicking!

Stretch/Strengthen: If stretching and strengthening the muscles in the area do not resolve the pain, you could consider a cortisone injection to reduce the inflammation. Newer techniques with stem cell therapies have shown great success in resolving chronic tears in those muscles/ligaments as well.
