Hard to say: Without examining the kid it would be impossible to confirm one opinion over the other. The director of the craniofacial center in dallas no longer orders xrays or ct scans on these cases before examining them.His group has published studies showing they pick up 98% on physical exam. In general the neurosurgeon is the one that does the work and decides which cases need surgery.
