Breathing problems and chest wall restriction from ankylosing spondylitis. i have no idea how to fix this. its steadily gotten worse over last years.

Go to an expert: You probably should go to either a pulmonologist or rheumatologist who can point you in the best direction. It may be that they can get you on some therapy either medical or physical to offset some of you symptoms.

Complex: See a lung specialist, you will need physical therapy, and probably be seen by an orthopedist. An echocardiogram should also be done.
