Ovulation: The release of an egg from the ovary can sometimes lead to a small amount internal bleeding from the site of ovulation . Bleeding can be very irritating and cause pain. Ovulation also triggers cascade of hormonal changes, including the increased levels of Progesterone which can lead to a sensation of bloating. Totally normal, does not necessarily mean that you're pregnant but certainly possible.
