Sun protection: Sun spots are typically exacerbated by sun exposure, hormones and stress and are more common in medium or darkly pigmented skin. Wear sun screen, hat and sunglasses to limit your sun exposure. See your dermatologist to discuss other treatment options such as topical hydroquinones, kojic, glycolic, retinoic or azelaic acids as well as laser therapy options. Stay out of the sun or it will come back.
