Dryness: Your mucus membranes in the nasal passages may be too dry and this makes them susceptible to infections(small pustules). You also may catch more colds. To avoid such dryness, lower your thermostat and you may need a humidifier during the winter. Try coating the insides of your nostril with a very thin film of vaseline daily.
