Do physiotherapist help in frozen shoulder?

Frozen shoulder: Physiotherapy can get the shoulder moving. Massaging helps loosen the muscle around the joint. Stretching helps release the stiff and thickened joint capsule.

PT & frozen shoulder: It's important to obtain the right diagnosis for treatment first. At 81, one must also consider arthritis as a possible cause of shoulder stiffness. Frozen shoulder can be treated with physical therapy. Therapy should be focused on slow, steady progressive stretching. If symptoms are aggravated by PT, you may benefit from a cortisone injection before continuing PT.
