Back Pain--: I don't really understand your question, but back pan and discomfort can be due to many things from a simple muscle strain to a pinched nerve. I would need more information to answer your question correctly. Naproxen is an excellent medication for back discomfort. Best to ask your doctor, as to how long should you have your back discomfort.
