All cancer can mets.: I don't know if i follow your question correctly. It is not just lung cancer. All cancer have the ability to spread --that what differentiate cancerous and benign tumor. Colon cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer etc- they all do have the ability to metastasize.

Statistical Anomaly: All cancers have the potential to spread to distant sites (metastasis). Lung cancer occurs more commonly, thus there are a greater number of patients with metastasis. I hope that answers your question.
