Asthma: Allergies and chest congestion.Make sure your asthma is well controlled .You can take an expectorant to help thin out the mucus clogging your airways. Allergy meds for postnasal drip.Be sure to take your inhaled steroid twice daily and rescue inhaler every 4-6 hours and call your doctor. If not improving, go to the emergency room.
