My body is healing very slowly, simple scrapes are taking many months to heal. otherwise health and diet are good. what supplements might help?

Vitamins: A multivitamin may be helpful especially one that includes vitamin d and zinc which help with wound healing. In addition gentle skincare should be practice which includes avoiding long hot showers and using the sensitive skin soap and laundry detergent. The fact that you have hashimoto's might influence the way things heal and your thyroid should be monitored regularly as it probably is. Good luck.

Scarring/Cell change: It may be scarring that is still viable and looks like it is taking long to heal. Try scar ointments like mederma. Thyroid issues may cause changes in iron and lysine levels ( amino acid) which causes changes at a cellular level from hair loss to slower healing. Supplements for both are available. Check with your doctor before starting supplements since you are already on a medication regimen.
