Stool color: The color of stool has little significance unless it is jet black or inordinately pale to white. Otherwise this is related to the type of bacteria in your gut. Diarrhea is most commonly due to viral infection, but if it becomes progressively worse you may need to see a doctor to have you and the stool examined.
