I'm having a strange tight feeling pain on the front side of my neck. i took some ibuprofen, but i'm not sure if i should use heat or cold?

Treat headache first: If your Ibuprofen is not relieving your pain in your neck, you need to have this examined by your doctor closer. Heat or cold depends if it is acute and inflamed, in which cold works better. Or if it's chronic, and the tissue is cold, sometimes warm compresses helps. Often, neither may be warranted. So, call your doctor first, and see what s/he has to say, and go from there.
