Tooth pain: Will you please clarify what you wanted to know, please? Was your tooth pain already checked by a dentist and you were told it is not dentally related? Or were you asking if your pain seems dentally related or not? Severe pain in tooth is not normal, whether you have tooth decay or not. Please have your dentist examine, and if all is fine, ask for a referral to other drs, if pain persists.

Pain: Could be from infected tooth, infected gums, fractured tooth, oral lesion, joint dysfunction, neurologic disorder, and so many other possibilities. You need to be properly diagnosed after a physical hard and soft tissue examination, and, if necessary, appropriate imaging. Pleas put the computer down, pick up the phone, and call your Dentist. That's fastest way to become pain free.
