Exercise : Can help a lot to help you relax and get rid of a lot of those feelings. You still might need counseling but you might be surprised how much exercise will do!

Yes: Sometimes doctors will use an ssr for anxiety and stress in addition to counselling. Some will use a benzodiazepam but that is falling out of favor due adverse effects and abuse potential. You psychiatrist or doctor will be in best position to decide your options.

To address stress /: Anxiety: talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation.
