Red rash : After a cut on the stomach may not be as critical as one on the face. Would let time take care of it unless, it is turning into an ugly scar, then you would need a plastic surgeon to help.

Contact dermatitis: If it is not bothering him, do nothing and it will eventually clear up since the tegaderm is now off. If bothering him (itching, etc) , then use over-the-counter strength Hydrocortisone cream (like cortaid) and massage into affected area three times a day. Avoid irritants in area like scented soaps, etc.
