See doctor: The pattern and location of the rash can be helpful. Itchy, burning, blistering rashes that are in a band like pattern may be "shingles" which is from the varicella -zoster virus which causes chicken pox. The reactivation can occur under times of stress. The rash will follow a "dermatome" which is the nerve root pattern.
