A member asked:

My identical twin 10 year old daughters were born same size. one keeps getting bigger, now 3 in taller and 20 pounds of muscle. could this be due to her being on steroids at age 1 (for a hemangioma)?

Steroids: Steroids could be responsible for the growth difference especially if steroids were given for a prolonged period.

No: Since she received the steroids 10 years ago this would have no effect on her present height weight or amount of muscle that she has.
