Pain is causing it: You'll need to have your low hip/back pain evaluated by your doctor, since all positions do not relieve the pain at night. The pain alone is enough to cause you to have difficulty breathing, as your repositiioning affects your intrathoracic pressure from the diaphragm, especially if you're holding your breath, when trying to move to a more comfortable position. Get pain relief soon.
