Bph: If you have prostatic enlargement, overactive bladder medications such as urolatrol can lead to urinary retention. I would only take it following evaluation for BPH my urologist. It may be that more direct treatment of your BPH would be a better option.

Yes, but...: Oxytrol (patch form of oxybutynin) may be used in men with caution, who can void with continual steady urine flow, proper bladder emptying, feeling comfortable, no UTI, etc. And any men, especially the elderly, with progressive slowing urine flow, increasing hesitancy, etc. over weeks, months, or years, should not use it without confirming if they have a happy bladder; more? ask right doctors.
