There have been cases of infection which require intravenous therapy if there is pelvic inflammatory disease with this organism, or you may be simultaneously infected with an additional std. You need to see and discuss this with your treating doctor. Something is wrong.

Use doxycycline: Recent research has found that chlamydia may frequently colonize the gastrointestinal tract, and in animals, azithro is ineffective in eradicating it in the GI tract, Because of the proximity of anus to vagina, genital reinfection may result, perhaps explaining some treatment failures. You should be re-treated with doxycycline, which is always effective and works well against intestinal chlamydia.
