Hla b27 is itcurable or not ?

Not needed: It requires no cure. Hla-b27 is a marker protein present in patients with certain diseases but it is also present in healthy individuals. Having a positive hla-b27 does not diagnose any disease. It should only be run in cases where there is suspicion of a particular disease in which case it can assist in making a diagnosis.

No, and no:: Not curable-in your dna, but not necessarily mean you have a "disease, " defined by the who as the absence of health. But the answer is more subtle. Pts with the b27 marker have a 30+% finding of sacroiliitis on x-ray, but only half have back pain. Many pts have problems they attribute to mechanical disease. Testing is routinely warranted in the evaluation of rheumatic diseases, clinically needed.
