Could be: Hives are bumpy, itchy and enlarge if scratch. If indiviual bumps last longer than 24 hours or leave a bruise or pigmentation when they resolve, then these aren't typical hives and an md should be consulted. If taking Cetirizine (generic zyrtec) 10 mg, 1 tablet per day eliminates all itching and skin changes, then it is likely that you have hives. Check with an allergist for proper management.
