It is curable: The origin and mechanism of most supra ventricular tachycardias are now well established and can be treated by medication or by ablation. The latter is considered a cure and is recommended for people with recurrent attacks inspite of medications,or when taking a medication on a long term basis is not desired for personal reasons. The procedure(ablation) is highly successful and safe.
