Ignore: Do follow your pediatric endocrinologist recommendations with good compliance.

Ignore: A simple insert can be placed under the skin of the upper arm to halt the process. Ask your doctor.

Ignore: Do see your doctor if you think your child is going through puberty early.

Ignore: ENDOCRINE checkup if early signs of puberty appear in growing up.

Ignore: Early Puberty in girls is development before age 7 yrs except in African Americans is before 6 yrs.

Ignore: True precocious puberty - seeing a pediatric endocrinologist is a must. No substitutes!

Ignore: Do understand it and understAnd bodily changes but know that the mind is still young.

Ignore: If breasts develop in girl before 8 yrs old - or scrotal/penile growth in boy before 9 yrs, see MD.

Ignore: Don't forget to support your child emotionally as they process all that comes along with puberty.

Ignore: Follow development frequently with PCP, and ask for endocrinology referral for rapid progression.

Ignore: Precocious puberty is not uncommon but your child's pediatrician needs to be involved!

Ignore: Start to prepare your daughter for onset of menses which can occur 2-2.5 years after breasts develop.

Don't: Don't force your child to eat. A parents Job is to prepare food.
