What are some of the effects of precocious puberty?

Precocious puberty : In boys before age 9 and in girls before 8, the presence of enlarging testes and breast development, respectively is considered early. Pubic hair and body odor come from the adrenal glands and are associated but not hormonally driven by the puberty hormones in the pituitary gland. Causes are numerous and may not need treatment. Final height potential may be shortened by early growth plate fusion.
