Please provide a tip on how to ask your doctor about glaucoma.

Ignore: Always mention a family history of glaucoma or if a family member used eye drops for a long time.

Ignore: If you have ANY problem with your glaucoma treatment, tell your doctor. There may be other options!

Tell: Tell your Dr. if there are side effects from your drops that make you not take it. There are options.

Ignore: You need to ask -how high is my pressure and what is my corneal thickness and do I have nerve damage.

Ignore: Am I at risk for glaucoma? Are you over 50? Fam history of glaucoma? Hypertension? Sleep apnea?

Ignore: How advance is your Glaucoma ? is it open angle or narrow angle Glaucoma ?

Ignore: Ask your doctor if you have any signs of glaucoma so your doctor can address your concerns.

Ignore: Ask if you have the open type of glaucoma or the closed type. Diagnosis is made by gonioscopy.
