Dry eye: Tears naturale (artificial tears) is safe for the eyes. They can be used every 1 to 2 hours for dry eye, if needed. Remember to take frequent breaks when using the computer for long periods of time. Alternate choices include systane and theratears.

Yes: artificial tears with preservatives can be used daily up to 4 times a day. In my patients who need them more often I recommend preservative free artificial tears. Also, you can consider other treatments like restasis, punctal plugs, etc... a good ophthalmologist should be able to help you choose what is best for your eyes after doing an eye exam.
