General: Orchiopexy is a procedure performed through scrotal incisions under general anesthesia. The testes are fixed with suture material to surrounding connective tissue to prevent future twisting within the scrotum.

This would probably : Be done with a general anesthetic, although a spinal anesthetic is an alternative.
