Dysmenorrhea: It is common to have pain with periods in lower abdomen on first day mostly cramping. Cramps are worse when clots are passing. If the bleeding is unusual in amount than usual, if you are feeling dizzy, and heart is beating really fast you need to go to hospital right away. Otherwise can take otc Ibuprofen for pain and see the doctor in the morning.
