A member asked:

I have had a pain in right temple that comes and goes and advil (ibuprofen) knocks it out then returns. is this a unruptured or ruptured anerism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neuralgia: If the pains are sharp and very fleeting, it most likely is neuralgia which is more of a nuisance than anything serious. It is an irritable scalp nerve which usually goes away on its own. If pain persists, worsens or becomes steady, see your physician.
